The Dark Moon Riot Shield is a large rectangular shield with flanks that curve back on the user. It has a covered slit allowing the user to orient himor herself on the battlefield while benefitting from the shield's full cover. The shield is matt metal-coloured with a pattern is bolts suggesting a laminate construction. Lacerations and broken-glass "flowers" on the front indicates the original wielder met a nasty end. The words 'Dark Moon' in black and '375 DM' decorate the face of the shield below the slit.
