Epic Armoury

Chainmail - Long Sleeved - Rivetted - Non Galvinised

The battle has lasted for three long days and the blood from both sides runs knee deep. You are exhausted and are unsure how much longer you can last when you see a break in the front lines. The enemy is making a last desperate push.

You are caught in front of their wave, and you feel the awful force of an enemy sword slash across your gut. Your Chainmail stops the blade from cutting, buying you the time to fight back and slay your foe.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury's Chainmail shirt is a flexible mail armour shirt made from linked and riveted mild steel rings. The mail covers the body from the shoulder to the waist, and has long sleeves protecting the arms to the wrists. Each ring interlocks with four other rings in a 4-in-1 design, and is also riveted to cope with additional stress. This shirt’s construction is built to last for a long time, but does add significant weight.

Wear this Chainmail by sliding it down over your head like a shirt, kept in place over your gambeson with a belt. Made of 1.6 mm mild steel, this armour piece is built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather and metal armour care.

Available in sizes Large and X-Large.
